Student Wellbeing During Covid-19
In these times of uncertainty and stress, children can often pick up on feelings of unease and anxiety from those around them, including parents and family members. Now that children's daily routine and stability of school has been taken away from them at this time, children may exhibit signs of stress, depression and anxiety. Limiting social interactions sees these effects compounded. Darnum Primary School will make regular contact with all children to check in on not just their learning, but also their wellbeing. The school is here to support as best it can if things get overwhelming. Please see the resources below to help support your child/ren and you through this difficult time. As always, please contact the school if you have any concerns about your child/ren, or you just want to check in and debrief about how your child is going.
Resources for Students
Headspace has put together their own special resource to support young people dealing with the Covid-19 crisis. There is an emphasis on addressing emotions and how to cope during the crisis on this website.
